Lush 9 to 5 Cleanser

Hi beauties,
Today I have another fantastic review about a product from Lush. This product is Lush's 9 to 5 Cleanser. This is a product designed for the busy bee and I think it is superb! It is a cleanser that you use without water and wipe off with a cotton pad. I find this so convenient. The packaging is nice and simple and matches with the rest of the Lush skincare line. The dispenser is great and easy to use. Also, the consistency is really thin. This gentle cleanser is made with almond oil, dove orchids and everlasting flower absolute. These ingredients work together really well. I really enjoyed this product. It was so easy to apply and is really quick to use too. Afterwards, my skin felt really clean, healthy, smooth and soft. What is so unique about this product is that it really hydrates the skin. Although my skin felt clean, it also was moisturised. I think that this feature is absolutely great! I really love it as it removes daily dirt and grime without any problem. This product retails for $7.95 for 95g and $15.95 for 40g. You can purchase this product from Lush or online at www.lush.com.au.

Facial Masks Series: Part 2 (Montagne Jeunesse)

Hey,
So this is the final part to the Facial Masks Series, for now! I have another two fantastic masks from Montagne Jeunesse to share with you beauties today.
So the first mask is the Montagne Jeunesse Deep Cleansing Blemish Mud Mask. This mask is for blemish prone skin. The packaging is cohesive with the rest of the line and is really unique. The ingredients in this product are really nice and interesting. The mask contains nature's finest spot-zapping ingredient which will naturally target problem area. It soothes, detoxes and improves the texture of the skin. This is from the aloe vera juice. Also, another ingredient, Willow cleanses the complexion. Rosemary and witch hazel is added to the blend to leave the skin clear, cleansed and refreshed. My skin felt more clean and was soft and smooth. Also, I loved the thick, mud consistency, as well as the scent of the product. This product retails for $3.95.

The final product is the Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Anti-Stress Mud Pac Mask. This mask is for normal, oily and t-zone skin. The packaging is cute and unique. The product is a deep cleansing mask with sweet seaweed, dead sea minerals and the subtle fragrance of lavender. It has a really nice scent and consistency. The mask draws out impurities and opens blocked pores. This is great! The mask really worked and left my skin healthier, smoother and softer. I really liked how it worked with my skin and it was super easy to use and apply. This product also retails for $3.95. That is a really good buy!

Lush's Emotional Brilliance!

Hi all,
I have heard all about the Lush Emotional Brilliance line and I was quite surprised that Lush was making cosmetics. It was awesome! So I had to try it out myself.
The first product out of the three I have is the Lush Liquid Eyeshadow in Intuitive. The base softens really easily into the skin and is made of soothing rose petal infusion, almond and jojoba oils. It also contains Cupuacu butter which helps to set the colour pigment nicely. I really like the sounds of this! The packaging of this product is cohesive throughout the Emotional Brilliance line and is really unique. The bottles are quite cute! The applicator is a sponge-tip and makes it quite easy to use and apply the product. The colour Intuitive is really nice. It is a shimmery lime green and is similar to Buxom's Stay There Shadow in Shih Tzu. The shade has such variety as it can create a bold look and a natural one too. The quality of the product is great. I quite enjoy the consistency and how smooth it glides on. Also, the shadow stays and has quite good lasting power.
RRP $24.95

Another product is the Lush Liquid Eyeliner in Control. The base contains the same ingredients as the liquid eye shadow - soothing rose petal infusion, almond and jojoba oils and cupuacu butter. This is a benefit as they seem like great ingredients and work together really well. The packaging is the same as the product above which adds a great cohesion to this new line. The applicator is a thin liner brush which makes is super easy to apply the liner and build up the thickness of the line. The shade Control is a great eyeliner colour. It is dark blue. This is great for a dramatic or natural look. Again, the quality is really lovely. It is quite long lasting and glides on so well. I really like it.
RRP $24.95

The last product from the Emotional Brilliance line is the Lush Liquid Lipstick in Confident.
The formula of this product contains a skin softening base. This base is a blend of organic jojoba oil, candelilla wax and rose wax. These ingredients are super softening and soothing on the skin and carry pigment really well. Again, I love how you can control the amount of subtly or drama you want by building on the colour or sheering it out. The packaging is cohesive with the rest of the line and is really cute. The colour Confident is quite nice. The shade is a dark rose colour. I think it is matte but it may have a slight shimmer to it. I have have said several times throughout this post, the quality of this product is superb. It goes on really well and stays on the lips for a long time. One thing that I really enjoyed is how it didn't dry out the lips. When you blended it out, it acted more as a lip stain. This is a great product.
RRP $24.95

All the products from the Lush Emotional Brilliance line are great. You should definitely go check them out.

Lush Christmas! The Melting Snowman

Hi all,

So Christmas is practically around the corner. And I'm so excited!
Lush has the most exciting Christmas products ever! One of these is The Melting Snowman. The Melting Snowman is one of their luxury bath melts. And trust me, this is luxurious. The packaging of this products is super cute! It literally looks like a melting snowman. To be honest, I didn't like the smell of the actually product. HOWEVER, when I put it in the bath, it smelt DIVINE. I loved it. The melt contains a blend of oils including vanilla absolute and sweet wild orange. The gives the product its deep marzipan fragrance with notes of rich fruit. It reminds me of Christmas cakes and cookies. Yummo! And it smells exactly like Snowcake soap. If you love that soap, then you have to get your hands on this melt! The formula is made of water-softening bicarbonate of soda, cocoa butter and shea butter. The chocolate was so tempting to eat! The heat gets to the product and melts away. After that, the melt releases those brilliant butter through the water. My skin was so moisturised and still felt hydrated and soft afterwards. I absolutely loved this. Also the scent lingered on my skin afterwards. This was the first bath melt I have tried and it was so superb. Way to go, Lush!

Beauty Bubs: Billie Baby Products

Hi to all the mums out there,
I have two great products for your bubs that both of you will enjoy. Billie Baby offers some great products for babies that really benefit their skin.
The first product is the Billie Baby Moisturiser. The key ingredient in this product is the skin-loving Goat's Milk. I have talked about the benefits of this ingredient in a post which you can check out here! This moisturiser is specifically formulated for babies with sensitive skin. The packaging is really cute, bubbly and colourful, perfect to go in a nursery. The formula has no fragrance, no colour and contains organic ingredients. I think this is so good for babies. The moisturiser also has colloidal oatmeal and vitamin e which are both fantastic ingredients in moisturising and nourishing the skin. The consistency is really nice and lightweight. I love it! Also, the scent of the product isn't too bad and is actually nice. Billie Baby Moisturiser really nourished my skin and made it so soft and smooth. I really enjoyed it as my skin was greatly hydrated.
RRP $14.95
The next product is the Billie Baby Butt Cream. The key ingredient in the product is also Goat's Milk which I strongly enjoy. The packaging of this cream is again cute and unique and is packaged in a jar, which I like. This cream is ideal for providing soothing relief from nappy rash, heat rash or irritated skin. It really creates a soothing barrier on newborn skin. The butt cream contains all-natural ingredients, as well as no fragrance and no colour, which is really nice. I really like the consistency of the cream as it is thick yet lightweight. The scent is the same as the moisturiser and is quite nice. Billie Baby But Cream really moisturises the skin and makes the skin so smooth and soft. This is a great pair with the moisturiser.
RRP $14.95
These two products are really good for babies. I recommend to any mummies for their bubs! They also make perfect baby shower gifts. You can purchase these products from all good pharmacies, health & gift stores, Myer, David Jones and Babies R Us.

Two hair products worth buying ft. ghd

Hi beauties,
So I know I am really fussy when picking products for my hair. You are probally too? Well, today I have two great products from ghd that you won't regret purchasing!
The first product is ghd Curl Hold Spray. If you want your curls, and even waves and flicks to stay put without looking like you've sprayed the whole can of hairspray on them, then this is the product for you. This hair care product is for all hair types and is for creating curls with your hair styler. It is a lightweight spray which helps your curls to be long lasting yet bouncy. The packaging is cohesive with the rest of the ghd Style range. It is asthetically pleasing, sleek and attractive. The touch of pink colour is really cute and makes it easier to set it aside from your other ghd products. Like the Heat Protect Spray, the dispenser is like a spray bottle. I found the product super easy to use and apply as you just spray it onto dry hair and work it in before curling with a heat styler. Again, the ghd hair product has a lovely fragrance which smells almost like perfume. I love it! Curl Hold Spray features the ghd Heat Protection System. This is a major benefit as it combines polymers to protect the hair from direct heat contact, conditioning agents to protect against rapid moisture loss and enzymes to protect your hair from UV induced free radicals. The product also contains corn starch. This ingredient provides protein and panthenol to provide protein. Panthenol is included in the formula to pan elastic to protect and provide an elastic-like hold to the hair. This spray really works to reduce frizz and static as well. I noticed this when using the product. I felt that my curls lasted for a long time but my hair wasn't firm or crisp.
RRP $22

The next product is the ghd Smooth & Finish Serum. I think the concept of this product is superb as it aims to give a defined, silky finish after styling, helps eliminate frizz and temporarily smoothes down split ends. If your having a bad hair day, this is definitely the product to try. The packaging is the similar to the product above but is smaller and has a touch of blue, which is unique. The product actually has a very functional pump dispenser and mechanism. The product has a fantastic gel-like consistency which is super easy to smooth out into the hair. The scent is so nice and fragrant. I love it! The serum is super lightweight and is suitable for all hair types. There is nothing worse than putting a heavy hair product on your hair that makes you feel like it is weighing your hair down. The formula contains a natural based polymer which helps protect, lubricate, build and restore the hair. I found that this product is quite easygoing, in terms of application. I felt a healthier change in my hair after using this product. It made my hair look natural but better! My hair was soft and velvety to touch and had more shine to it. My hair looked and feeled much healthier all round which I thoroughly enjoyed.
RRP $22

Facial Masks Series: Part 1 (Montagne Jeunesse)

Hi everyone,
This is the start to a two-part series featuring some great facial masks. Montagne Jeunesse is a successful natural beauty brand presented in 85 different countries. All their masques contain the most delicious and natural ingredients.
The first mask of the Facial Masks Series is the Montagne Jeunesse Cucumber Anti-Stress Peel-Off Masque. The mask is designed for normal, oily and t-zone skin. The packaging is iconic with the colourful and quirky-shaped sachets with the image of a woman on the front. The scent is quite refreshing and smells like cucumber. I also think it smells like the after-sun aloe vera lotions. I really like the gel-like consistency and it is really refreshing and calming when you add a thin layer to your face. I really enjoy peeling it off and it makes this mask really unique! The product deep cleans pores and lifts away dead skin. My skin was left feeling soft, smooth and clean.
The last mask for Part 1 is the Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel-Off Masque. This mask is really fruity and again has a great fragrance. The packaging is red with a woman featured which is iconic to this brand. This consistency of this facial mask was really enjoyable and I think the peel-off innovation is superb. The mask soothes, heals and repairs, calms your complexion and cleanses and purifies the skin. I felt like the mask did exactly that and this product left my skin feeling clean, healthy and soft. I think that this is a great skincare product like the mask above.
Both these masks are fantastic products and are great to use weekly. They both retail for $3.95 from Priceline, Target, Kmart, Big W, Coles, Woolworths and selected pharmacies.

I love Lush: Lush Sparkle Toothy Tabs

Hi beauties,
So I have another Lush review for you guys today and it is on the Lush Sparkle Toothy Tabs. This is a revolutionary product for your teeth. Toothpaste is the most used cosmetic product. We use everyday and we often don't even think about it. Instead, Lush has challenged the normal. Four percent of every toothpaste tube is wasted because we can't squeeze it out and thousands of aluminium tubes are thrown away which end up in landfill. Lush can prevent this with their new invention called the Toothy Tabs. They are solid tabs which get rid of the need for unwanted packaging and come in a handy box made of recyclable materials. Each pack contains 40 tabs. All you have to do is pop it in your mouth, crush it a bit and brush your teeth as normal.
It contains great ingredients which are all natural and vegan. These tabs have a mild base of sodium bicarbonate and cream of tartar. The sodium bicarbonate helps to thoroughly clean and whiten your teeth and the cream of tartar helps to make the solid form. There is also a gentle surfacant that creates the foaming effect. This helps dissolve the bacterial build up on your teeth, which you can get rid of completely by brushing. The formula includes dicalcium phosphate to help polish the teeth, glycerine which acts as a humectant and saccharin to sweeten.
The packaging is so cute. The tabs come in a convenient, little box which you slide open. It also has a fun, little quirk involved which made me smile so much.
Sparkle is a teeth whitening palate cleanser, designed to take away any flavours in your mouth and leave you with sweet, fresh breath and dazzling pearly, white teeth. The fragrance is a blend of lemon, grapefruit, black pepper and sea salt. I really liked this toothpaste as I noticed that my teeth were more white and my breath was fresh and zingy.
RRP $2.20
