theBalm's Mary-Lou Manizer

Hi beauties,
So a while back I did a post on theBalm's Christmas in 2012, which contained three beautiful products. Well here I am today, to share with you my thoughts on theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer. Just before I get straight into the review, I just want to say that theBalm have the best packaging I have seen. All their products are super adorable. I love it.

This product is an all-in-one bronzer, shimmer and eyeshadow. I have to admit that I'm not a huge fan of all-in-one products, but I do think this concept is great for this product because it is the perfect shade for it. Ok, the product is super cute. It has a 'Wanted' theme to it with a 'mug shot' of Betty-Lou on it. I just think it is so adorable. The bronzer has a lot of product in it (8.5g) which is always a big plus. The product has a really nice texture. It is so smooth and glides on the skin! I think that the bronzer is pigmented and it has such a pretty shimmer to it.

The shade 'Betty-Lou' is a warm-toned bronze colour. I thoroughly enjoy this product because it has so much variety. You can use it for a lovely, bronze eye or to give a nice shimmer and glow to the face. The colour is so nice which can be used on most skin tones. I just really love this product! It is so perfect yet adorable.

Look flawless with Prestige Skin Nude Foundation

Hi all,
The weather is so bad down here is Sydney! I was pretty cold all day and made me just want to be at home, watching movies.
Anyway, I have a fabulous product to share with you guys today. It is the Prestige Skin Nude Foundation. This foundation has a natural effect. It offers medium coverage which is natural looking. The packaging of this product really does highlight the 'skin nude' name of this product. It also is very portable and sleek. I like it a lot! The product really evens out the skin complexion which looks so nice on the skin. So what part of this product gives it the 'skin nude' name? Well, it's the light texture. The foundation has a very nice, light texture which creates a nude effect for a fresh look and healthy, luminous glow! And it really does let off this nice glow without it looking fake. The formula is very unique because not only is it enriched with bio related active principles, it is also enriched with ginseng, aloe and vitamin E. this stimulates, hydrates and protects the skin with anti-free radical and antioxidant protection. This is so perfect! Skin Nude Foundation is dermatologically tested and is paraben free. It has such a light and fluffy consistency, making it super easy to apply and use. The foundation is really lightweight on your skin and let's your skin breathe. It has great coverage and lasts quite a long time. There is really nothing I can fault about this product. It is sensational and so natural!
This product is a steal at $24.99. It comes in five shades Nude Sand, Nude Natural, Nude Desert, Nude Amber and Nude Sunny. You can purchase this product from Priceline, Kmart, Terry White Chemists and selected Myer, Chemmart and Pharmacies nationally.

SEPHORA HAUL!

Hi all,
So in November I ordered some products online at Sephora which then got sent to a family friend in America. He came to Australia a couple days ago and I got my stuff from Sephora. I was super excited!!! Here's what I got!
VIB Tote
This came as part of the VIB Sale. It is super cute!

Last time I went to Sephora, I had purchased one of their brush sets. The larger brushes started to go a bit astray (my fault). This perfectly keeps them in shape. I love these!

I  have always wanted to try these out and this set was such good value!

Buxom Time to Shine
If you already know me, you know that I am obsessed with the Buxom lip glosses. I had to get this!

Too Faced Perfect Collection
I really wanted to try out a variety of Too Faced products. This set was great for this! I love all the product and it is such good value.

Bliss Mistletoe Musts
Bliss is also another brand I really wanted to try. This little set is so cute!

Boscia Pink Peppermint Blotting Linens
These blotting papers are so cute, unique and innovative. I had to purchase this!

500 Point Perk: Urban Decay Make Your Makeup Last Kit

100 Point Perk: Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens

100 Point Perk #2: Bumble and bumble Bb. Thickening Hairspray

International Beauty Swap with Beauty Moxie! (AUS - US)

Hi everyone,
This is a very exciting post! I recently participated in a beauty blog swap with Kristen from Beauty Moxie. She is amazing and you should all check out her blog and YouTube channel. They are both fantastic. I just received my package from the US today and I loved it.
Here's what the box looks like! It is so so so cute!
I got a really lovely letter from Kristen and everything was wrapped nicely and labeled!
The first product I unwrapped is the Elf Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder. Kristen said, "Everyone here raves about this! I love it and thought it's perfect for summer." This is so great. It is such a large size and I will definitely be using this a lot!

The next product I got open was the Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Gloss in Electric Shock. Kristen said, "This is new here and it's amazing! A new favourite of mine." This consistency feels really nice and the colour is superb. I love this!

The third product I received was the bareMinerals All-Over Face Colour in Pure Radiance. This is a mini size and it is so so cute. Kristen said, "Love! I had an extra! Hope you enjoy it." I have the full size of this and I am in love with it. This is so good for travel!

Another product I unwrapped was the Sephora Ultra Vinyl Lip Pencil in Fuchsia Fever. Kristen said, "LOVE." This is awesome! I had bought one of these and I lost or broke it and never got to try it! I love this colour!

The fifth product I got sent was the Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish in Jessica. I almost let out a squeal when I opened this! Kristen said, "Beautiful Color." This is such a nice colour. I just love this!

The next product I got open was the Stila Sensational in Sydney Palette. Kristen said, "How could I not have? Haha it's too cute!" It is indeed so cute and so convenient. I have always wanted to get one and now I have one! The shades look so nice!

The last products were Julep Nail Vernis' in Ashley and Nessa. Kristen said, "These are such beautiful summer colors!" They are so beautiful and I don't have anything like them! I will definitely be painting my nails soon!
Again, thanks so much Kristen! You absolutely spoiled me and I hope you like my goodies as much as I like yours! Check out what I got Kristen here!

This is perfect for any girl because it contains the perfect trio of products, which come in a super-cute cosmetic bag. This bag is so handy and great for travel. It even has a spot to hold your brushes.

The first product is the Betty-Lou Manizer. This is an multi-use powder which you can use as a bronzer, eyeshadow or luminizer. I love the packaging of this.

The next product is the Tall, Dark and Handsome Mascara. This is a great mascara which leaves your lashes looking long and voluminous. I love this!

The last product is Cocoa My Coconut Plump Your Pucker Lip Gloss. The gloss is a great size and is gorgeous in colour. The shade is just so pretty. Also, it has a yummy chocolate scent!

This set is great value. It retails for $49.95 but is valued at $81.85. It is so ideal for a woman who you want to spend a bit more on. They are bound to love it. You can purchase this from David Jones. You better get your hands this gift set because it is FANTASTIC!

I will be doing review on each product individually.

Storage for small make-up collections

Hi all,
Not everyone has a large make-up collection. You may be just starting out or have a small collection that you use all the time. I have a post for you guys today which gives you a great suggestion on how to store your make-up.
My sister has a small collection. She was going through her jewellery when I came up with the idea to use the jewellery box as make-up storage.

Before!

  Take a look!

First compartment

Second and third drawers

After!

The whole thing!

First compartment - Brushes and face products

Second drawer - Eye products

Third drawer - Lip products
This is super easy to do and looks great at the end!
