John Frieda Intensive Masque

Hi all,
The product I wanted to share with you today is the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Miraculous Recovery Intensive Masque. I tried this out today and I really do love it!

John Frieda delivers moisture to dehydrated hair so that it's soft, silky and glossy. The product is infused with milk protein, vitamin E and avocado oil which I really enjoy. The avocado oil visibly  repairs and fortifies dry, damaged, frizzy hair to help protect against breakage. This is a real plus! My hair is a bit frizzy but with this product, it definitely reduced the frizziness. The masque is ideal for women with thick, unmanageable curls or waves. My hair is very thin and is wavy. It still worked perfectly on my hair which I really liked. The packaging of this product is nice and cohesive with the rest of John Frieda's products. Also the masque is portable but has a lot of product in it. This is superb! It helps hair bounce back from the stresses of blow-drying, styling and daily wear and tear. I love the consistency of this product as it is so nice and thick. You replace conditioner with this product as it is like a deep conditioner. It is a great product to use occasionally as it really brings the hair back to a healthy state.
I love this product as my hair feels much healthier, smoother and softer!

December Favourite! John Frieda 3-Day Straight

First off, I hope everyone have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I wish you all the best for 2013!

During December, I have been using a product a lot. And I am absolutely loving it. This product is the John Frieda Frizz-Ease 3-Day Straight Styling Spray. This is a semi-permanent styling spray which creates visibly straighter hair for up to three days and also blocks out frizz with keratin protein. How does that sound? Fantastic, to me! The packaging of this product is really cute and unique as it resembles a spray bottle. This dispenser is superb and has a lock system which is super handy. The formula is revolutionary as it is heat-activated with keratin protein which wraps each strand to seal in longer lasting straightness. The formula is weightless and does not weigh the hair down at all. What I really like about this product is that it also protects your hair from heat damage and blocks frizz.

So how do you use this spray? Well, you spray the product between seven to fourteen times on wet or damp hair and comb it through. You then blow dry your hair and straighten your hair in sections afterwards. It is just that easy! I do when I get out of the shower and it doesn't take a long time. Afterwards, minimal heat touch up is required.

The results? My hair did stay straight for three days and it looked great. I didn't look frizzy at all and in fact looked very healthy and glossy. I absolutely love this product because it your straighten your hair regularly, you only have to do it every three days. And it doesn't damage your hair at all - it does the total opposite. I really recommend everyone to go out and buy this product because it is just so amazing!

Two hair products worth buying ft. ghd

So I know I am really fussy when picking products for my hair. You are probally too? Well, today I have two great products from ghd that you won't regret purchasing!
The first product is ghd Curl Hold Spray. If you want your curls, and even waves and flicks to stay put without looking like you've sprayed the whole can of hairspray on them, then this is the product for you. This hair care product is for all hair types and is for creating curls with your hair styler. It is a lightweight spray which helps your curls to be long lasting yet bouncy. The packaging is cohesive with the rest of the ghd Style range. It is asthetically pleasing, sleek and attractive. The touch of pink colour is really cute and makes it easier to set it aside from your other ghd products. Like the Heat Protect Spray, the dispenser is like a spray bottle. I found the product super easy to use and apply as you just spray it onto dry hair and work it in before curling with a heat styler. Again, the ghd hair product has a lovely fragrance which smells almost like perfume. I love it! Curl Hold Spray features the ghd Heat Protection System. This is a major benefit as it combines polymers to protect the hair from direct heat contact, conditioning agents to protect against rapid moisture loss and enzymes to protect your hair from UV induced free radicals. The product also contains corn starch. This ingredient provides protein and panthenol to provide protein. Panthenol is included in the formula to pan elastic to protect and provide an elastic-like hold to the hair. This spray really works to reduce frizz and static as well. I noticed this when using the product. I felt that my curls lasted for a long time but my hair wasn't firm or crisp.

The next product is the ghd Smooth & Finish Serum. I think the concept of this product is superb as it aims to give a defined, silky finish after styling, helps eliminate frizz and temporarily smoothes down split ends. If your having a bad hair day, this is definitely the product to try. The packaging is the similar to the product above but is smaller and has a touch of blue, which is unique. The product actually has a very functional pump dispenser and mechanism. The product has a fantastic gel-like consistency which is super easy to smooth out into the hair. The scent is so nice and fragrant. I love it! The serum is super lightweight and is suitable for all hair types. There is nothing worse than putting a heavy hair product on your hair that makes you feel like it is weighing your hair down. The formula contains a natural based polymer which helps protect, lubricate, build and restore the hair. I found that this product is quite easygoing, in terms of application. I felt a healthier change in my hair after using this product. It made my hair look natural but better! My hair was soft and velvety to touch and had more shine to it. My hair looked and feeled much healthier all round which I thoroughly enjoyed.

ghd Heat Protect Spray

I have another great product from ghd to share with you beauties today! Heat protection for your hair is super important. Without it, your hair can become lifeless and unhealthy. ghd Heat Protect Spray will prevent this. This is a super lightweight spray and a nice fragrance. I think it smells so so so so lovely. The packaging is really practical. The lid doesn't fall off and is securely attached so you can throw it in a bag and know that it will be safe! The dispenser is like a spray bottle but it is really easy to spray. Also, it looks really sleek and appealing. This formula is suitable for all hair types and contains heat protection polymers. These provide protection from direct contact with heat styling products. It also has heat protection conditioning agents which protect against rapid moisture loss. ghd Heat Protect Spray contain heat protecting enzymes to provide protection from UV induced free radicals and conditioning agents to improve the hair' structure. I think that the ingredients used in this hair product are superb. This product really allows you to achieve maximum effects of heat styling without the compromise. It is so easy to apply and use. The product left my hair feeling really silky, soft and smooth. Also, I noticed my hair was glossy and had a nice shine. I felt that my hair was a lot more healthier and didn't undergo the negative side effects of using heat styling products. Overall, I love this product and think that it is a great product for your hair when heat styling.

ghd Review: Lovely Brushes

ghd is a great hair care brand. They have many great products including two which I want to share with you today.
The first product from ghd is the Oval Dressing Brush. This product is a classic brush for dressing and finishing the hair. It is made up of natural bristles which makes it quite soft on the hair. The packaging is nice and sleek. The black colour with silver end makes it look so appealing and attractive. The brush really finishes the hair, whether it is up or down. It also makes it gives the hair a nice, soft texture. I think that this brush is great and is something that I will be using basically everyday. I recommend to everyone as it is a brush that gives your hair a beautiful finish and texture. This product retails for $34 and is well worth the money!

The next product from this great brand is the Size 2 Natural Bristle Radial Brush. This product is perfect when looking for total styling control. The brush is Size 2 which is perfect for short to mid length hairstyles. Again, the packaging is nice and sleek and the black colour with silver end makes it appealing and attractive. I really love the packaging. The product is made with natural boar bristles to combat static and grip the hair for better control, while smoothing out any frizz. This is just the perfect brush. The brush really grips the better but it slides nicely through the hair. I really enjoy this brush and again would recommend it to everyone as it is a brush of great quality. This product retails for $32- $34

I really really like these brushes and am going to continue to use them!

Hey everyone,
Have you ever wanted to change your hair colour as quick as your make-up? Well, now you can with KEVIN.MURPHY COLOR.BUG. This is hair colour without commitment. I love this! The product is like eyeshadow for your hair.
To use this product you have to put a towel around your shoulders before hand. Also your hair has to be pre-styled or dry. Use a styling product and work the bug into the product until the product dries. This lets the hair shadow stick to the product. Depending on what product you use, varies the intensity of the colour. Also, the more product you put on, the more intense it is.

There are three colours. These are orange, pink and purple. I have orange and purple. Orange is a bright pinky-orange and purple is a nice typical purple.
The COLOR.BUG is water soluble and will come off anything with water. This is so innovative!
The packaging of this product is cute. It looks like one of those electronic bugs and it is quite portable. The shadow is very pigmented and it is easy to use and apply. The best thing about the COLOR.BUG is that it is high-definition colour just for one night. The colour looks really on the hair and you can play around with it to create different looks. The product looks really good on all types of hair and all hair colours.
I really like this product because you can make it look like you have dyed you hair. It lasts for a while but no longer than a night so you can wash it out the next morning. I think this product is really great. It is of good quality and I can't wait to use it again!

I tried out Cedel Blow Dry Faster Heat Protector recently and wanted to share it with you. I really liked it. This product by Cedel minimises the time it takes to blow dry your hair while protecting your heat from the heat of the blow-dryer. It is infused with silk and wheat protein to leave your silky, smooth, tangle-free, frizz-free, soft and shiny. This products delivered! My hair was not soaking wet but still wet. It normally takes me 5-8 minutes to blow dry my hair. With Cedel's product, it took me 2-3 minutes. WOW! My hair felt more healthier and had that nice smooth and shiny texture to it. The packaging is nice and simple and grabs the attention of my eyes. The product is part of the National Breast Cancer Foundation and is a Silver Partner which is great.
