Get Sorted!
Too tired in the morning? Running late? The way I stay on time and looking refreshed is making a beautine. Beautine means a beauty routine. What you do is you write out a list of what you have to do every morning. I do this by writing all the products I use because the method to use the products are pretty self explanatory.
The effect of a beautine is this:
The effect of a beautine is this:
A beautine allows you to be organised while getting time to refresh you skin, do your make up or straighten your hair. You go from tired and stressed to happy and on time when you use a beautine.

Rise and Shine!
So one morning last week, my sister went to Canberra. She left at 6:30am and I woke up to say goodbye to her. I was really tired and I didn't have enough time to go back to sleep. So it was my chance to use my Up You Gets Emotibomb by Lush.
If you dont know how to use it, well what you do is you place it on the shower floor under the water. The aromas used in this product lift up your spirit. I loved this because it really made me feel refreshed and ready to take on the day. Up You Get contains grapefruit, lime and lemon oils to make you rise and shine. I could immediately smell the scent as soon as I placed it under the shower and it changed my mood from tired to joyful and organised.
I recommend for anyone who is not a morning person but I think everyone will enjoy it thoroughly.
You can purchase these at any Lush store and retails for a steal at $4.95

Update
Hey everyone.
This post is sort of an update about my blog. So first thing you have probably noticed is that the design of my website has been updated. I am in the process of creating a logo for my blog so I think that the top image is temporary (not sure though).
Also I need the word spread around about Beauty Fix! So can you please tell people on Twitter, Facebook etc.
Also if people have any requests for future blog posts, I am happy to write them. You can comment on any posts with requests or contact me via twitter; @beautyfix000
I hope you are enjoying my blog posts! P.S. Beauty Fix is going on Facebook!

Do's and Don'ts: Tanning
There are many different ways to tan. Here are the rights and the wrongs!
Do's:
Gradual Tanning -
What is it?
Gradual tanning is applying tanning lotion to build up a tan. Most lotions also contains moisturiser and doesnt not give you a tan instantly.
Try This;
Tan in a Can - What is it?
Tan in a Can is spraying tan in a can on your body to give you a tan in 2 - 3 applications.
Try This;
Spray Tan -
What is it?
A spray tan is when you are sprayed with tan by a company to give an instant tan. They look most effective 1-2 days after application.
Try This;
Don'ts:
Sunbaking -
What is it?
Sunbaking is pretty self explanatory. It can cause skin cancer and you can get bunt.
Don't Try This;
I hope you get your tan on this winter; the right way!

Shopping in Westfields Miranda
Today I went to Westfields Miranda to pick up some fabulous beauty buys. I ended up with two OPI polishes from David Jones. Yes, they were from the Pirates of the Caribben collection. I got Planks a Lot and Mermaid's Tears. I also received some Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions samples which I am eager to try.
I didn't get as much as I expected because I realised that I didn't need really anything but I am just really happy I am prepared (in the way of nails) for Winter!

Nail Polish Update: Pirates of the Caribbean
I'm sooo excited. OPI just has released their new collection. It is Pirates of the Caribbean: Stranger Tides after their new movie. I love these shades because I personally think they are very great for winter.
The top left is called Skull & Glossbones. To the right is Steady as She Rose and the top right is Planks a Lot. The bottom left is Sparrow Me the Drama, to the right is Stranger Tides and the bottom right is Mermaid's Tears. There is also a Silver Shatter available as part of this collection. I really love all the names of the polishes. My favourite colours are Planks a Lot and Mermaid's Tears.
The release of this collection was perfect timing as they all are perfect colours for Autumn and Winter.
Here below is the website:

OMG! I feel like I'm in Hawaii
Trust me, Im far from it. It is sooo cold down under and I thought my skin is going to dry out. So I have got this Body Butter from Spa Paradisa like last year. I always thought it smelled sensational but I never used it. Well finally, I tried it yesterday and I love it. First of all, the scent smells so nice. Its Jasmine and Ylang Ylang and smells like Hawaii. It is also so moisturising as it contains Shea Butter and Avocado Oils but it doesn't leave you feeling sticky. The thing that stands out from all the other body butter is that the scent lingers on your skin for ages. I put it on last night and I still can smell it this morning. It is truly amazing.
Here is the link to their website. I recommend you checking it out:
It retails for around $19.95 as I got it as a gift xx
