Hi beauties,Don't you hate those days when you wake up late and rush through your beauty routine, missing out on steps, but still turning up late to your destination? Me too! Well, here are some beauty products that make it (nearly) impossible to run late.

1. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
The first skincare shortcut is a cleanser. I like this cleanser because it is gentle, suitable for all skin type and even removes light make-up. The time saving quality of this product is that you can use it without water. How handy?!

2. Trilogy Vital Moisturising Cream SPF15
This product is of high quality and doubles up as a moisturiser and sunscreen. It cuts down time and you don't have to be putting on two layers of creams.

3. Batiste Dry Shampoo
This product can be your lifesaver. Normally, if your hair is really greasy or dirty, you would take a shower, which takes up time. With this product, you can just spray all over and it refreshes your hair. It makes you feel confident and you can just have the shower when you get home!

4. Maybelline Fit Me! Powder
The first make-up short cut is a powder/foundation. This powder is really good and has a nice consistency. It takes more time to use a liquid or cream foundation than a powder foundation. So it doubles up to give you a matte finish and good coverage.

5. Hard Candy Fox in a Box
This product is so good for a short cut. The powder has four shades so you can use it as a blush, bronzer, highlighter or just for some colour. All you need is this compact box for a nice, glowing face.

6. Australis Lip Butter
The last shortcut is a lip butter. Australis had created a really nice lip butter that is so moisturising and has cute packaging. The shades give a subtle but nice colour to your lips. You are moisturising your lips and giving them a bit of a tint at the same time.

Batiste Review: Camouflage it with Coloured Dry Shampoo

Recently, I have done a few posts about Batiste Dry Shampoo. This post is a review on their Coloured Dry Shampoo in Brunette. First, the scent isn't really the main focus of this product but I think it still smells pretty good. Once I used the product, I found that it left the scent lingering in my hair. My hair felt fluffy, smooth, soft, clean and fresh. I myself actually felt refreshed too. It was easy and quick to use. The difference between normal dry shampoo and coloured dry shammpoo is that normal dry shampoo can leave a white powder - like residue. The residue of the coloured dry shampoo is coloured to blend in with your hair. I really like this even though I have never experienced the white residue before. I love this product!

Tutorial: Achieve Fresh Hair

This is my first tutorial and it is about achieving fresh hair in five minutes without water!
The first thing I do is brush my hair briefly. So I just quickly brush it not going into each section. Then I grab a Batiste Dry Shampoo and spray it all over my hair. I generally lift up sections of hair to spray the next section. After that I wait and let it sit for a couple of minutes. During this time I do other things such as applying make up and what not. Once my hair has sat for a couple of minutes, I then brush it out just like I normally would. Voila! That is it! My hair feels so clean and fluffy after this!
There are a few products and tips I want to tell you. First of all I either use Batiste Dry Shampoo in Fresh or Batiste Coloured Dry Shampoo in Brunette. There is nothing wrong with the other scents. I just prefer these. The Coloured Dry Shampoo is different. Dry Shampoo can leave white powder excess in your hair. But the Coloured Dry Shampoo actually leaves brown or black (whatever colour you choose) in your hair, so it camouflages and is not noticeable. I actually have never had white powder excess in my hair but I like to switch between the two. Also if you are travelling or on the go Batiste have an on-the-go size which you can throw in your purse!

Want Fresh Hair?

Ok, sorry for the lack of posts. I have been really busy lately. So I wanted to do a great blog post and it is a review. You know how I received products from Batiste? Well last night I didn't have time to wash my hair and I had places to go this morning. This was the perfect time to trial my Batiste Dry Shampoo in Fresh.

The scent of this product is for both genders and is inspired by the rainforest. It "has a fruity twist of Pear and Citrus accents with lively florals and a base of woody Musk and Sandalwood".
Well the results? It looked like I had just washed my hair that day. My hair did not feel oily or greasy at all and it felt soft too. The scent is amazing. It smells so fragrant, fresh and clean. I would definitely use this product again as it is the quick and easy way to refresh your hair.

I have been pretty sick for the past two days so I haven't been the best. So this morning I was all rugged up until a van parked outside my house and handed me a little blue gift bag. It made my day.

Inside was gold tissue paper, two brochures and two full sized Dry Shampoos; one in Fresh and the other in Coloured.

So I am really happy, thanks to Batiste. I will be doing a review and hair tutorial on these products in the holidays!
