Pantene Beautiful Lengths program

I wanted to share with you some exciting news about the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program. I love this program as it aims to give wigs to cancer patients.

After receiving over 4,000 ponytail donations since the program launch in September 2012, Pantene has begun to distribute the first 200 Pantene Beautiful Lengths wigs to cancer patients in need with the help of charity partner, Look Good…Feel Better.

To celebrate, Pantene held two special Look Good…Feel Better workshops in Sydney and Brisbane this month to present the first of the wigs to 20 women who have lost their hair to cancer treatment.

In Sydney, hair donors Madeline Bartlett-Sweiger, Nataleigh McCrae and Kimmi Nissen attended to present the first of the Pantene Beautiful Lengths wigs and see the result of their kind donations, and in Brisbane, hair donor Lillian Webb attended and the two daughters of cancer patient, Robyn Condon, decided to donate their hair on the day.

Pantene ambassadors Barney Martin and Zoe Foster attended the workshops, with Barney on hand to cut and style the wigs.

 This is just such a great cause which I love!

It's Time to Have Fun with Lush Fun

Holidays are now in gear and I'm finally able to have some good fun! And what better way than to have fun with a new invention from Lush called Fun. I recently tested out this product in this Green scent and I am delighted with this product. The consistency of it is so unique as it is hard yet gooey. How cool?! And the packaging of this product is so bright and bubbly. You get a lot of uses out of this 4-in-1 product and I really enjoy this!

Well what is this product all about? According to Lush:

Lush Fun in Green contains lime and lemon essential oils which pack a punch and will definitely wake you up. This really refreshes you!

It is the ultimate body product as you can use it for a bubble bath, your hair, your body and for fun! It has many different uses which I love. In addition the Green scent smells so nice and refreshing, making it especially perfect for summer! When I put it in the bath, the water turned green with some bubbles. It was so relaxing to be in the bath but I felt so revitalised after, thanks to Lush! The citrus scent lingered on my skin and my skin felt hydrated, smooth and soft. It's like clay which you can mould into all different shapes.

         

How do you use it? You need to learn from the experts:

"Well, the first thing you will want to do with your Fun is get it out of its biodegradable wrapper and start having fun making it into models and shapes. There are so many ways to wash with Fun. For body and hair, just pinch off a small bit, hop in the shower or bath and lather from head to toe. Use as a bubble bath or to hand wash your clothes by crumbling a small chunk under the hot running tap. Battle of the Cleansers: Biore Combo Skin Balancing Cleanser vs. Biore 4-in-1 Revitalising Cleanser

Today we have a showdown of the Biore cleansers! Who will win? Biore's Combination Skin Balancing Cleanser or Biore's 4-in-1 Revitalising Cleanser. Let the battle begin!

Today we have two competitors battling it out to win the ultimate title here at the showground of Beauty Fix blog. First competitor in the arena is Biore Combination Skin Balancing Cleanser.

The first category today that the competitors will be competing in today is the showdown of packaging. Both products have similar packaging and are both not travel-friendly (I know with this type of packaging, I tend to get nervous that it will leak in my suitcase). The Revitalising Cleanser also features a convenient pump but has a more of an irregular shaped bottle which is nice. Other than that, both products are the same - they have a nice look to them which draws your attention to the products. I am thoroughly enjoying the new look Biore has!
So the results of this round...A TIE!

The second round for this battle today is consistency. I am looking for a really nice consistency that I know will work nicely with my skin. The Combination Skin Cleanser has a very, very nice thick, gel-like consistency that feels very gentle yet thorough. To go along with this is the product's lovely, fresh scent. The Revitalising Cleanser also has a great consistency. In contrast to the first product, this cleanser is a lightweight foam that also has Biore's great scent. The battle of this category is really up to personal preference.
So the winner of this round is...Combination Skin Cleanser!

The battle is now heating up and the next category today is ingredients. Both products contain great ingredients that benefit the skin. The Combination Skin Cleanser is equipped with this Skin Purifying Technology. This ingredient removes all impurities from the skin but doesn't take away the skin's moisture, which is necessary in evening your skin tone. The Revitalising Skin Cleanser contains very natural ingredients. There is sugarbeet extract in it to condition the skin and help retain its moisture and there is also green tea and eucalyptus which provides an ultra cooling sensation. This round is a tough one but I will probably have to go with all naturale!

The fourth round in this battle is all about how it works. The Combination Skin Cleanser builds up into a really nice lather. The cleanser is so effective in which it is so thorough yet so gentle. It left my skin feeling really balanced out - it felt not oily yet not dry! My skin felt so smooth and soft, as well as clean, afterwards. The Revitalising Skin Cleanser also really lathered up nicely with the foamy consistency. It felt like it was really doing its job but was not harsh on my skin at all. The product left my skin feeling so soft and smooth after using it and also it felt refreshed and clean. Both of these products really did their job and promote healthy skin.
The results of this round is...A TIE!

The battle is now coming to an end. And to conclude this battle, I have one more round...Price! Both cleansers are so affordable and of good value. The Combination Skin Cleanser is $10.99 for 200ml and the Revitalising Cleanser is $12.99 for 198ml. Also they both last for a quite a while so it is really good value. Favourite Time! Prestige Eyeshadows

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been extremely busy. Anyway, I wanted to review another product from the great makeup brand Prestige. It is the Prestige Total Intensity High Impact Eyeshadow. So this product is a collection of eye shadows which come in a variety of shades. They use a duo-chrome pigment which is an advanced colour technology that creates a unique multi-dimensional look, ranging from multi-colour to bold. The product is available in eight shades. The packaging is really cute and pretty. I like the clear to of eyeshadow and the practicality of the packaging as well. It just looks so nice in your vanity or makeup storage.

The eyeshadows are so easy to use and apply. They just glide onto the skin which I thoroughly enjoy. The consistency of the product is also very nice and creamy. The eyeshadows are smudge-proof, crease-proof and long-lasting. This is a huge plus! I love this! The product can be used wet or dry to intensify colour. The shades are so nice and are vivid and intense. The colours look really gorgeous on the eyelid!

The first shade I have is called Long Term Relationship. I just love the names of these shades. This is my favourite colour as it is a rich bronze colour. It is just so intense and gorgeous. I love it!

The second shade is called Obsession. It is a really nice deep blue. I think this shade is so beautiful as it is vivid and bold. The shadow has a bit of a sparkle to it to.

I am absolutely in love with these eyeshadows!

I love Biore's Nourish Moisture Lotion!

Happy Valentine's Day! It's been a really busy week this week! Does anyone agree? Well, I really really wanted to review another product from Biore for you - because they are amazing! It is the Biore Nourish Moisture Lotion. It is a moisturiser that creates healthy looking skin by moisturizing, balancing and protecting. I really like the packaging as it is nice and simple, but is very handy as it has a pump dispenser. I love pump dispensers (hehe). The product is infused with antioxidant-rich vitamins A,C and E. I love these vitamins that are contained in it. The lotion also have anti-oxidant rich green tea and extracts of wild yellow poppy, rose hip, chamomile and aloe. These ingredients all help to moisturise and balance the skin. It has built-in broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection to defend your skin against everyday sun exposure. This means the product is suitable for skin exposed to sun. The formula is also dermatologist tested, non-comedogenic, hypo-allergenic and oil free. I love this! The consistency of the lotion is nice and thin and lightweight. This is a major plus for me! I also enjoy the lovely, clean, fresh scent the product has. I really Ike this product. Afterwards, my skin felt hydrated, moisturised, smooth and soft. What is a really important factor that I like, is that the product lets your skin breathe. This product is really great because it really hydrates your skin.

4 more days to V-Day! Lush Willow Soap

So there is four more days to Valentine's Day and I have got the perfect product to prepare you for a great day and night! It is the Lush Willow Soap. The look of this soap is really nice. It looks really elegant and romantic. I love the delicate look of it. Something that stood out to me about this soap is the texture and consistency of it. Willow Soap feels really moisturizing, reminding me much of Lush's massage bars. It is more thick which I really do enjoy! The word that best describes this soap is creamy. It is super creamy! The soap is rose, silician lemon and rosewood. It's oh so romantic! The scent is so romantic. To me, all I smell is musk! It is so reminiscent of Musk Livesavers, but more elegant and mature. The soap lathers really nicely on your skin. Afterwards my skin felt really smooth and soft. Also my skin felt quite moisturised as well. Love this because you can't get that from many soaps. This is perfect to prepare for a great Valentine's Day. The scent lingers on your skin for a while, so you can still smell it afterwards. I love the delicate look and scent of the product! It is so romantic and elegant. I love it. I definitely recommend this for some pre - Valentine's Day pampering or a last-minute gift!
